Yeah, I thought it was pretty neat. Of course, he moved out of Flint when he was 6, so he's kind of...from Flint but not *from* Flint, if that makes any sense. Most of his life was in Arizona, he was just born in Flint. *shrug* I'm probably rambling and making no sense.

I'm actually kind of tempted to tweet him and ask if that Halo Burger is the one I'm thinking of, lol. But I'm a little scared to (...celebrities intimidate me XD )

I've never been to Arizona. (This is mostly due to the fact that I don't handle hot weather very well at all.) I've got a friend at school who's from AZ though.

I've had this LJ since before I came up with the name "uberniftacular". And I've been wanting to change this one for a while (like...a year and a half? XD ), just haven't gotten around to it. Because I'm a lazy bum.

Yup. My mum grew up in Flint, moved out to the suburbs when she and Dad got married, they both still work in Flint. And that's where I went to college.

I was actually out there today, you know where the mall is? Right across from there is a disc replay, I went in there and sold a bunch of movies and then my friends and I had some other running to do, so we spent a good part of the afternoon in Flint and Swartz Creek.

Ahh, nice. I haven't been to that part of Flint in ages (um, mostly due to having been living in Chicago for the past 2 and a half years, lol). Even when I lived in Davison, didn't get out to that end of Flint much. If I had mall shopping to do, I'd end up at Courtland Center in Burton because it was much closer than going all the way out to the Valley. (Plus, I've never been terribly comfortable with expressway driving, and the 69/75 interchange right there terrifies the shit out of me, lol)

I HATE the freeway with a passion. I have only ever driven on it twice and both times I was forced to. The first time was on my drivers test, that was a friggin blast. I thought I was gonna die. For some reason it terrifies the crap out of me.

Yeahh. Highway driving sucks. I don't honestly like going that fast (at least, not when I'm behind the wheel. Speed doesn't scare me quite as much when someone else is driving), and the way other people drive is terrifying. That's the main reason I hate highway driving (well, and driving in general, really); it would be okay if there weren't any other people on the road. (Case in point: 75 isn't too bad once you get an hour or so north of Bay City. I actually don't mind driving it up there. Gets a bit sketchy again when you get in close to Gaylord, but there's a good hour or two where there's hardly anybody else on the road)

I'm okay when my friend Rachel, Tina, and my mom and brother drive, but after that, people scare the fuck out of me.

I also much prefer back roads period, I would rather spend the time and gas going that way then any other.

I prefer the back roads too. When I was driving in to Flint every day for college, I always took Court St or Davison Rd in to the university, even though taking 69 would've been faster.
