So, my history paper is pretty much done (only took me like 3 and a half hours to actually write it, so it actually went pretty quickly), I just need to have somebody read it over and tell me what parts are broken.
Next up, criminology assignments and my criminology paper. The paper I think I'm starting on Wednesday...no work on Friday, so I can spend all day Wednesday and all day Friday working on it, so I don't desperately have to start it RIGHT NOW like I was afraid I was going to. So if I get my criminology assignments for this week and next week written this afternoon, then those will be done early (this week's isn't due until Sunday night, and next week's isn't due until the following Sunday, but if I get next week's assignment (which isn't technically posted yet, but the question was up at the very beginning of the semester, so I grabbed it then in the hopes that I might be able to work on it early) done this week, then I won't have to worry about it at all when I'm attempting to work on the biochem exam next week.

Today I:
- did my taxes (getting back like 120 bucks from federal and 60 from state, yay!)
- did my assignment for criminology
- ordered my sister's birthday present (eBay is a wonderful thing)
- ordered my dress!!!!!!!!!!!!! (which, after e-mails back and forth with the company, I have been told should fit me. and will hopefully be here in 2 weeks or so.)
- did some reading for my history paper which, I discovered yesterday, I actually don't have to rush to get done (thought I'd have to have the whole paper done by next Monday, but it turns out that my next biochem test is a week later than I'd thought, meaning I have another whole week to work on this paper)

My schedule for this semester
Jan. 5th, 2009 10:21 amIf anyone cares...
Monday:
5-9 - work
Tuesday:
8-10:45 - BIO 491 (Independent Study Research)
11-12:15 - CHM 452 (Biochemistry 2) (MSB 302)
interim - lunch, possibly more research
2:30-3:45 - HIS 325 (History of British Isles to 1688) (FH 307)
Wednesday:
6-9 - work
Thursday:
8-10:45 - BIO 491 (Independent Study Research)

2:30-3:45 - HIS 325 (History of British Isles to 1688) (FH 307)
Friday:
9-2 - work
And if that looks really skimpy, it's because I'm also taking a couple online classes:
HCR 107 - Stress Management and Relaxation (a 7-week class, so I'm done with it in mid-March, huzzah!)
SOC 384 - Criminology (theoretically, there's absolutely NOTHING in the Blackboard shell for this class right now, which makes me a little nervous)

Jan. 1st, 2009 09:00 pmShopping yesterday. Much poorer now, but got some good loot:
New laptop! Shiny, with lovely clicky keys. Vista remains a POS, but at least I had an install disc for Office 2003 so I don't have to deal with shitty Office 2007.
And I found giftcards from last Christmas in my wallet, enabling me to get 4 CDs for 10 bucks:
Regina Spektor - Begin to Hope
Within Temptation - Mother Earth
- The Silent Force
- The Heart of Everything
Spent New Year's Eve with Bry...we watched WALL-E and Eagle Eye, which were both good. WALL-E was a lot better than expected...case in point, there was a spork.
I have to go back to school on Tuesday. DO NOT WANT.

Nov. 20th, 2008 01:22 pmHoly. Frick.
I've been like...super slaphappy all day. Like, to the point where Patrick and I were laughing about stupid stuff all through biochem. And biochem is NOT supposed to be funny.
On the up side, ran into Jenny this morning. Apparently she DOES exist outside of blurry pictures! So that was cool. Also ran into Kaydie when I was buying tickets to Nick's show. Yay theater this weekend.
That is all.

Nov. 10th, 2008 11:51 amend of semester = 31 days. *happydance*
Things to do before then:
Grad school apps (due Dec 1, Dec 15, and Jan 15)
History paper (due Dec 8)...I should probably actually start this soon.
Keep up with biochem (blargh!)
Biostats exam today
One more biostats exam sometime
Biochem exam Dec 5
2 more discussion board assignments for history
2 more terms assignments for history
2 more quizzes for history
Meep.
...and I'm currently being laughed at for typing "meep." Damn you. XD
*shrug* Apparently flavor is being added to my journal.
Welcome to LJ stream-of-consciousness with Bry looking over my shoulder. Blame him for any insanity that may result from reading this post.
Yup. I may possibly want to actually study for my biostats exam that's today. Maybe not though.
Either way. Getting off LJ is probably a good start to succeeding at school XD
