well the teeth are out...and surprisingly it doesn't even hurt. thank goodness for the pain meds! bleeding has stopped, and I regained all feeling of my face at about 3 this morning. now we're watching a Lord of the Rings marathon...started the first movie at about 9 this morning. now we're about 2 and a half hours into the second...probably finish the third around 8:30 tonight.
other than that, there's nothing particularly interesting to say. I wish I hadn't missed the seniors' last day though...that's super depressing. I wanted to get to say goodbye to everyone.

Les licornes, brillantes, courent dans le forêt
Les feés dansent sous la lune
Dans l'ombre d'un tour du magicien
Et les lutins infatigables se mêlent avec les arbres
Les nains dans leurs mines
Les dragons dans le ciel
Les griffons lissent dans leurs nids
Et les magiciens se battent contre le mal
Je visite ce pays parfois
Errant son étendue magique
Pour converser avec ces creatures
Et perd de vue de la réalité
Et ensuite je me reveille
De mon rêve éveillé
Je vois la beauté d'imagination
Tout est dans l'ésprit, tu sais

and I did all that from memory. which is good, since I have to have it memorized by Friday. I think I managed to get all the accents right too.
I don't believe it. The science MEAP was even easier than the math one. I hadn't thought it was possible.
we actually had a full trombone section in jazz band today. even though one of them is actually a bassoon. heehee...Andy is so my new hero.

Apr. 18th, 2004 09:12 pmso today I watched the entire cast commentary of LotR:TTT. yep. all 4 hours of it.
it's great to be listening to it and hear all the different actors...it's kinda funny actually.
all the "adult" actors (basically all the actors except the hobbits) were pretty serious about it, but they'd make the occasional joke or whatever. Sean and Lij went all philosophical most of the time, interspersing that with silly little stories of nothing in particular. It was Dom and Billy that were the funny ones...they were constantly bantering and saying stupid stuff...they seriously reminded me of small children.
so all evening my thoughts have been phasing in and out of being Billy Boyd's voice. kinda freaky, but not altogether an unpleasant experience. huzzah for random Scottish accents.
aside from doing that, nothing particularly happened today.
