naushika asked me some questions. Same meme as before.

1. What's one fictional character you would erase from existing if you could (eg the character is totally stupid and ruins everything and you wish they'd never been created)?

Oh, ye gods, Lindsay from CSI:NY. Because she's pretty useless, annoying, and has made one of my former favorite characters (Danny) significantly less interesting too. Augh.

2. What's your favorite book?

I don't have one! However, Harry Potter, Hitchhiker's Guide, R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt Do'Urden books, Tamora Pierce's Tortall and Emelan 'verses, and Diana Wynne Jones's Chrestomanci and Derkholm books are my favorite series.

3. What's the grossest food you ever ate?

Calamari. It was rubbery and icky. (Also, seafood is disgusting.) I have also had Brie once, which was also highly unpleasant.

4. Dogs or cats?

Cats! I have one, and would like to have a second one. I mean, I like dogs, but prefer cats overall (they're self-cleaning! and don't need to be taken on walks!). I will visit with dogs, but wouldn't want to own one.

5. What's your lj name mean?

Heh, this is embarrassing. XD Because I've had this LJ since high school. "mb" stands for marching band. jazz is fairly self-explanatory, plus I was also in the jazz band in high school. And the "freak" part is kind of because I needed another word to stick at the end. And '87 is the year I was born.

I have, for a while now, been playing around with the idea of actually, finally, buying a name-change token and changing my username. Because I also own a journal with the name that I actually *want* (which is my name pretty much everywhere else on the internet), but it would be WAY too much work to try to transfer all my friends over there and everything.

Ewwww, calamari!

Yay, cats. :D I'm the same. Dogs are fun but a hassle to take care of!

Yeah, calamari is DISGUSTING. Though I've been told that the particular calamari I had wasn't prepared well. But considering my stance on seafood is DEAR GOD NO GET IT AWAY (unless it's a tuna sandwich, but even then, if it's got pickle relish or other weird stuff in it, GET IT AWAY.), I'm not planning on trying "well prepared" calamari anytime soon.

My husband likes dogs, and I think he kind of maybe wants to get one sometime, possibly. But I'd really rather not. (He grew up in a house with multiple dogs and one cat, while I grew up in a house with parakeets, so I suspect this may have something to do with our respective opinions on pets.)

I want to be Uberniftacular. It's what I use many other places on the interwebs (including Dreamwidth and Twitter), it's just that I started *this* journal before I came up with the name Uberniftacular.
