So I was listening to my ipod, and "Light my Candle" from RENT popped up.

And apparently that means that my head has decided it wants a RENT/Avengers fusion.

Just. This exchange reads so much like Tony/Steve to me:

So yeah, that happened. And I've planned out like...half of the characters. For something I will NOT ACTUALLY WRITE, because I'm not that good. And yeah, the character comparisons aren't that great for some of them, but here's what I've got so far (if anybody's actually interested. PLOT BUNNY FREE TO A GOOD HOME.)

Mimi - Tony
Roger - Steve
Maureen - Clint (what? he's hot. everybody wants him. I mean, you could probably make an argument that Tony is more like Maureen, but Steve isn't a good Joanne, so.)
Joanne - Phil (If I were to actually write this, I would TOTALLY give them a happier ending than Joanne and Maureen actually got, though.)
Benny - Pepper (because Benny and Mimi had a thing for a while. OOH, and that makes "Muffy" [or whatever her actual name is] Happy Hogan, I think.)

I don't really have ideas for who gets to be Mark or Collins or Angel. I mean, who've I got left to work with? Bruce and Tasha and Thor. Well. And Fury and Maria and Darcy and Jane, I guess.
