Exactly! As of right now, the things I want to do with my life are things that, from what I can tell, tend to require a bachelor's and a couple years experience, which my Masters should be the equivalent of (considering it's a coursework PLUS lab experience, rather than a purely coursework-based Masters). And a lot of the jobs you can get with a PhD in my field are things I don't honestly want to do, because I have no desire to run a lab (I loathe grantwriting with a passion, which appears to be at least 70% of what running a lab entails), and I certainly have no desire to teach. So I feel like my decision to leave with a Masters is really the best option for me at this stage in my life.
