I've never actually talked about it with anybody! Mainly because I just watched all of WH13 this past fall, so of course my reactions from seasons 1 and 2 are years behind everyone else XD But I've pointed it out to my husband while watching. (He just smiles and nods like I'm a crazy person, lol)
It's not a trope I'd ever given much THOUGHT to before, but I've supported a couple Foe Yay ships over the years. Well. Harry/Draco, anyway. XD (Potter was my first fandom. Never wrote anything for it, but read a LOT of fic, way back before the fourth book even came out. Oh man was most of it bad XD ) And of course Artie/MacPherson is PRACTICALLY CANON. I mean. MacPherson's comment about "you always hurt the ones you love" or whatever the exact phrasing was? Yeah.
Now I'm trying to think if I've been into any other Foe Yay pairings, lol. (Most of my ships tend to be more of the "best friends that have no concept of each other's personal space are TOTALLY SLEEPING TOGETHER OFFSCREEN" type...) I guess Jayne/River is kind of Foe Yay? Ish?
