Yeah, I think part of my problem is that the graphics program I have right now isn't that great, because I can't exactly afford Photoshop. So I'm using a freeware program, Paint.net, that does kind of the same things (though, by all appearances, doesn't seem to have a blend tool) as Photoshop does. I'm learning to make do with what I've got.
