See, you and I are too familiar with one another to be the kick-in-the-ass we need anymore. We just sorta look at each other when we're working on a project that needs completing and go "... feh" and mutter about homework before slinking away. Good for your new Internet friend for helping you get a move on!
(Can you tell I, too, am stalled on my fandom project of the moment?)
I think coming up with individual quotes for everyone, OUT OF CONTEXT, has to be the hardest thing. Like, it's hard enough to get nice quippy things from characters to begin with when you're writing lengthy stories, but to just draw them out of the air? Too hard. (And there is no shame in copping out for Makoto-- writers do it all the time, and he'll get character development in season three or four [whether they are real seasons or virtual seasons remains to be seen, of course, depending on the network {oh god I just referred to this as though it were real}].)
I have decided I do not have a favorite character. Because they are all too awesome like that. (Though I suspect it would be Alisa, in the end. But Mari is awesome too, and would probably win me over. I'd probably wind up shipping them, just for the hell of it. Oh! No! I'm totally shipping Charity/Alisa! I forgot! Or maybe Charity/Mari! Man, I'll have to track down where I scribbled down who I was shipping.)
(ooooo, I wonder how Oliver reacts when it is revealed that Li isn't one of the good guys????)
I don't even remember the little fic snippet I wrote for you... I can't imagine trying to track down which journal entry it was in. O_o
