apparently I've survived my first day.

too bad I have lab tomorrow.

anyway, so...my teachers and classes and stuff. Nan the bio professor is cool. and funny. and I think it's okay to call her Nan, but I'm not sure...it's weird, because I hear all the bio professors being called by their first names when my mum talks about them, but I don't know what to call them in school. the lecture seems like it's gonna be a lot of work...and I dunno what the lab's gonna be like yet, because we don't have it this week or next week. oh, Luke Woolard is in my lecture...not that I actually know him or anything, Randy pointed him out and I was like, hey, I know people that know him.

Professor Daassa (world history to 1500) is nice. he's from Tunisia and went to school in France, so he's a wee bit hard to understand sometimes, but no biggie. and it looks like the class probably isn't gonna be too bad either.

Professor Stach (chem)...well...I still don't know what to think about him. I mean, his political views are interesting, and it's nice that he's picky about grammar, but...HELLO, HE'S A CHEM TEACHER! there are some things that really don't need to be talked about in chem, so yeah. and I don't like the fact that all the tests are take-home tests that you have to do in groups, because I don't know anybody and I hate working in groups. so yeah, I get the feeling this class is gonna make me cry a lot.

chem lab tomorrow.

wind symphony wasn't too bad. of course, it's...well, tiny I guess is the best word to describe it. I think there's about 27 people in the class. I'm the only horn. at least the music isn't particularly difficult. I just need to remember to number the music by next week. oh, and Knuuiti's in my class, which surprised me. ah well, it's nice to have someone I know there. the percussionists were confused about who was playing what part (there's like 7 of them and generally only 2 or 3 of any other instrument), and I was like, *sigh* this reminds me of home. some things never change, I guess...

and I got to see Jenny between classes today, which was pretty cool.

football game tomorrow. I'll definitely be there to watch the band. I must see this new pre-game (even if Kyle does think it looks like something his dog threw up, lol) and of course it'll give me a chance to talk to my band friends for more than like 30 seconds.
