ooh, shiny!

my mellophone is all shiny now. it makes me happy.

first day of pre-camp went pretty well, actually. we didn't really do much, but I'm not complaining. Apparently we got more done than Schuster expected us to.

I think Schuster is out to get me. grr. will explain upon request or in next entry, as am too lazy to do so right now.

Schu-torture...

yeah...okay then...

yesterday before lunch Kara and Chelsea made the band do a little game where we split off into groups and had to find out stuff about each other. so somehow Schu ended up in my group...yeah, that's when I knew it was gonna suck. the other people in the group told stuff about themselves, and then it was my turn. the first thing I could think of to say was that I like ska music, at which point Schu leaned over to the kid next to him and whispered (very very loudly, I might add) "she secretly likes rap." I told him very pointedly that, no, on the contrary, I despise it very openly thank you very much, and then tried to think of something else to say about myself. the only thing I could think of was that I can swing dance, so when I said that Schu had a spaz. it was kinda funny really, until the point where he decided to tell Kara that sometime before the season is over she has to organize an activity that involves swing dancing.

as I said, he's out to get me.
