Injury in the line of duty...

I look like I've been attacked by a very angry cat.

Why?

My boss made me set up the Christmas tree at work today, and let me tell you, fake trees scratch a lot worse than real ones do. And I felt dreadfully undignified crawling about trying to put the lights on the bottom branches.

I get paid to do this?

Yeah...I get paid to wash off mostly eaten food, and unplug toilets after human waste has already coated the bathroom floor.... Count your blessings, love. ;-)

hello. we don't usually talk, but i feel like commenting randomly. :-)
as you can see in the comment above, there could be a lot worse things, at least you get paid to put up a christmas tree. i had to put one up for FREE. haha. <3

just to clear things up a bit...when I made the comment about getting paid to put up the tree, it wasn't meant in a complaining sort of way, like an "I get paid to do this? It was meant more in a sort of astonished, "wait, I'm getting paid to do this?" way.
