I finally have Avengers icons!

...except that I don't have one for Tony, and that's bothering me. (I'm desperately craving one of the face he makes in the beginning of Iron Man 2, right when the mask comes off when he's on stage. But am too lazy to go searching for one right now, and I don't have Iron Man caps to just make one myself. *sigh*)

Also, there are not enough Coulson icons in the world. Up side, I've got Avengers trailer caps now, so I might just make some myself.

YES. Also, I am thoroughly convinced that Fury lied to the team. Because NO JOSS WHEDON, YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT TO MY FAVORITE CHARACTER. AGAIN.

(I know, Marvel themselves demanded it, rather than it just being an issue of Joss being...Joss. But still.)

So I'm not the only one that hopes that they revived him but Fury figured he'd be useful as a dead ?

Exactly! They established very well that Fury a) keeps secrets, b) doesn't tell people things unless HE thinks they need to know it, and c) is willing to lie to get what he wants (see: Coulson's trading cards). And the medical team did not actually call it on screen. We see them showing up, and then hear Fury over the comms saying they called it. Coulson himself said that they needed a push, basically, so Fury saw an opportunity and took it, but I'm pretty sure the med team managed to stabilize Coulson in time, and he's hidden in a secret medical facility somewhere, recovering. (Either that or it was a Life Model Decoy all along, but I'm less in favor of that theory.)

...when the truth comes out, someone is going to punch Fury in the face, I swear. (My shippy heart says Clint, but Tony's got pretty poor impulse control too, so.)

Wash! Dear god, I loved Wash to death. And Book was pretty excellent too, but I liked Wash better. Well, and Buffy, but that didn't stick, so I'm told. (I'm fairly certain this list will get longer, as I haven't actually watched seasons 6 and 7 of Buffy yet, or anything past S2E5 of Angel. I liked the Irish dude in S1 of Angel, but wasn't THAT attached to him, really.)

That's what I thought, too.

I never watched Angel and stopped with Buffy in Season 6, I think. But he gave me Spike/Buffy and I didn't like that at all :)

Yeah. (Ugh, sorry for the essay, by the way. I just have SO MANY FEELINGS about the whole situation. XD )

I'm not so keen on the whole Spike/Buffy thing either, to be honest. So we'll see if I can actually stick through the last 2 seasons. Like, I love the show, but sometimes I do get tired of it being all about Buffy's relationship drama. Though this has a lot to do with the fact that I would really the show to be more about Willow, because Willow is awesome. (Also, I miss Oz. Like, a lot. Willow and Oz were adorable together. But Willow and Tara are also adorable together. I JUST WANT WILLOW TO BE HAPPY, OKAY? XD Ugh I have too many feelings about everything, apparently.)

I love Buffy - she is my favourite character, but I think making it all about her men makes her look a bit weak. Why not let her be single for once ? There is nothing wrong with being single !!!! (pet peeve of mine, sorry !)

But yes, Willow was cute with either one and I was really sad when Oz left.

Gosh, it's been ages since I watched Buffy - I wish they would give me a re-run on TV (Preferably in the evenings when I'm actually at home).

Hee. That's probably good, because I sometimes have OPINIONS.

Yeah, no kidding! I liked how there was one episode, a bit after Riley left, where she decided it didn't need to be about having a boyfriend for once, and that was nice. I wish they could've left it like that, instead of having to bring in the whole Spike angle. (...And the Buffybot. *shudder* I found that episode kind of disturbing.)

Willow is adorable! (Ooh, I actually have an icon for this!) And I was so sad when Oz left, I spent a couple days going, "Butbutbut...they were supposed to get married and have a litter of TINY GINGER WEREWITCHES!"

I usually don't know either. *shrug* There are a couple that I know where they are (I know Noelle is in AZ because she mailed me something once, and I know Heather is in Chicago because that's also where I am, and we were excited about actually being in the same city), but for the most part, I haven't the faintest idea.

I actually did a thingy for the Coulson Lives thing on Tumblr, I felt very silly but also pleased with myself for having done it. XD

(Mainly I felt silly because I scribbled on the board at the building I work in. I'm a grad student. I have no idea if anybody else even had any idea what I was talking about. I haven't gone back to look and see if it's still there or not.)

ETA: Also, that icon. I AM DEAD. THE SEXY GLASSES HAVE KILLED ME.

My brother hadn't seen it yet, so I took him to see it since he's in town right now. (As a lead-up, we watched both Iron Man movies and Captain America on Friday night, because he hadn't seen IM2 or Cap. And I felt the need to watch Thor today because it rounds out the set, and also because COULSON. AND CLINT. And discovered that in Thor, Coulson is wearing a wedding ring. Which led to another freaking plotbunny, because I need any more of those right now when I can't actually write Avengers fandom, and I'm supposed to be focusing on my reverse big bang fanmix...)

I would love for everyone to get their own movie eventually, but I would at least settle for a SHIELD film that focuses on Coulson and Clint and Natasha.

(I hear they're making a Nick Fury movie, actually. Maybe that'll be good and full of Clint and Coulson and Natasha? Though it looks like it might be a Fury-backstory movie or something, I'm not sure.)

I heard about the Nick Fury movie, just not what it's about. Backstory makes sense though - maybe how he came to Shield ?

Looks like it's pre-SHIELD Fury, but Clark Gregg is rumored to be in it, so it probably is going to have something to do with how he came to SHIELD. :D
