Watching Buffy. Episode 4x02, there's an awful lot of Oz and Xander touching. What's up with that?

Oz/Xander is my favorite non-canon pairing on Buffy! Actually, I'll pretty much pair Oz with anyone, but Xander is my favorite. There's some decent fanfic out there, but I don't have the links on this computer. :(
