Writer's Block: Kiss me, I’m Irish!

Headed out to see them dye the Chicago River green, then going to the St Patrick's Day parade downtown.

Probably not spending the day drinking, because apparently alcohol tolerance isn't genetic. (Case in point: I am Irish, German, and Russian. One drink and I'm practically asleep. My ancestors would be ashamed.)

My day

Morning: Watched Chicago River get dyed green. Wandered around for a while, watched part of the parade but couldn't see much and it was hot, so we got ice cream instead. Did not encounter a single green beer along the way, for which I am deeply thankful. (Actually didn't see a whole lot of beery people, period, which surprised me a little. I mean. This is Chicago on St Patrick's Day, after all.)

Afternoon: Star Trek: Voyager. All afternoon. And yes, I'm shipping Tom/Harry even more than I did before. Been a long time since I rewatched this show.
