1. I still don't have any Avengers icons (or...actually even seen the film yet).
Also, I totally agree with you about Thor. I've gone on at length about why Loki's so popular: they spent about half the movie on his characterization, and almost nothing on Thor. He's like a big blonde sock puppet.
(Though an adorable one, certainly.)
I love him in fic, but the Thor film really dropped the ball, and I can't imagine Avengers having time, what with all the other characters, to fix it that much.
2. Hee. I love Craig Fergeson. I don't watch him as much as I'd like, but then I just don't watch a lot of TV anymore.
And that fic was hilarious, by the way.
3. Jayne deserves to be popular. He's one of those characters who you sense all the potential good there...and then find yourself cringing repeatedly with what he actually delivers. That end scene of Jaynestown struck my early writer brain as an example of character progression worthy of emulating.
(Also, unf.)
4. *squishes mah boys* Yeah, nothing to be sorry about there. It's an awesome icon.
5. Yep, Radar's totally squishable too. M*A*S*H always brings to mind memories of being home sick from school and watching the reruns with my dad. *snuggles*
6. Yeah, basically everything I said in my journal about the unflappable "straightman" type goes here. I blame you for my Coulson love (though I ship him with Steve more often than Clint >.>), since before I read your journal he was just that guy I vaguely remembered from IM1.
Afterward, on rewatch, I paid more attention. :)
Also: Not one of the icons I commented on, but I took a look at Underground and it looks awesome. I might do something similar. I found a prompt in the thread on the community that I could easily twist into the non-fandom Life 'verse story I've been wanting to do for ages...

So, I might just surrender. ;)
