fanfic WANT

I may be a horrible person. I had a fanfic idea last night that I now desperately yearn to read, but know for a fact I wouldn't be able to write it myself. And the premise is mean and I feel awful for having thought of it, but oh would it be emotional and awesome if it ever actually became a fic.

Yeah. I want the Castle fic where Jenny dies in childbirth, and Esposito helps Ryan raise the baby.

Because I am an awful human being.


ETA: Also, what is up with my head and fic involving babies these days? I don't even *like* kids, but this fic would be amazing. Plus, I'm sort of poking away at a Eureka/WH13 fic that also involves babies. Well, will involve, eventually, if I can get past the exposition.

Yeah, this is what showed up in my head when I was trying to sleep last night. And it's so frustrating because I KNOW I can't write it, but I want to read it SO BAD right now.

I can write fic, sometimes, but my abilities are fairly limited. Besides the fact that I have absolutely no confidence when it comes to my ability to write people in character, there are also very few things I know for sure I can write. Most of what I've written is a Criminal Minds AU 'verse, and pretty much anything else I've written has been for landcomm challenges, so they're mostly weird little oneshots of stuff. But I'm pretty sure I can't actually write Ryan/Esposito even if I tried. (I did, however, recently write a "tv show" in which I cast Seamus. Because apparently writing tv shows is what I do with my spare time, lol.)

Is there someplace Castle!fic-related I could post this as a prompt? Because maybe then someone would write it for us! (Because it's either that or we harrass coffeebuddha, lol)
