Time to investigate this Downton Abbey thing everyone's been talking about.

ETA: So, 3 episodes in, and my major reaction at this point is that Maggie Smith and Penelope Wilton sniping at each other is a thing of beauty.

Ehh, I mainline shows all the time, so this'll kinda be like all my other shows, hiatus-wise. (Hell, new season of Sherlock doesn't come back until next YEAR sometime, I think?) But yeah, I watched the first 5 episodes tonight. It's pretty good stuff so far (though I have to say...I honestly don't think I like Mary at all. And I just feel sorry for Edith. Besides the Dowager Countess, my favorite characters are probably Sibyl and Anna.)

I've only seen the first episode of Sherlock S2, I need to finish the other two - but there's no rush since it won't be back forever, and I've had a lot of it spoiled for me already anyway lol.

I really like Sybil and Anna too. I didn't really like Mary at first, but she grew on me - I'll be curious to see how your opinion of her changes (or doesn't). I feel really bad for Edith, although she's done some stupid shit.
