That is, in fact, Hodgins's hand on Zack's head in icon 8.
And icons 9 and 10 are shippy when taken together. I've watched this scene a zillion times, and that is in fact Zack's hand in Hodgins's hair in #9. And the utter joy on Zack's face in icon 10 when he's looking down at Hodgins...just makes me happy.

And I love those two scenes, (I mean the one from 8 and 9/10). I can confirm it is Hodgins's hand on Zack's head! :P (and viceversa lol)
