So. I'm apparently watching Buffy now. I'm 5 episodes in, and I have this to say.

Dear Brain:

STOP. The show has given you multiple potential ships. Play with those, and stop throwing the severely awkward at me instead.

(Just because he's British does not make it okay. And he's not even that attractive. STOP.)

And by spoilers you mean Spike or Angel? (Just for the record. I almost just typed "Spike and/or Angel," despite having no idea whether those two characters have anything remotely resembling overlapping timelines on the show.) I haven't seen much of the show, but have heard enough (and seen enough prompts on comment_fic to have heard of them, lol. Plus that whole...Angel has his own show...thing.

And I must have seen bits and pieces of the show when I was younger, because I know things and don't know why I know them. Like how Buffy has a younger sister, and Spike is a vampire but not one of the bad guys (and is also British, and the actor who plays him was in a few episodes of Torchwood).

I'm sure there's Buffy/Giles fic out there, because Rule 34. I'm just not sure if I want to go searching for it.

I never watched Buffy as a kid because my parents didn't like the idea of it (ditto Charmed, which I watched a couple years ago and enjoyed greatly). But I remember hearing a bunch of hubbub about what they were doing with the show when it moved networks, so we'll see if it's actually as ridiculous as it sounded at the time.
