Oh, it'd be Prentiss who is into the hair bands. At least, according to her canon yearbook picture. With the weird-ass goth stuff and her hair all huge and shit. I can see it as being her dirty little secret. She acts all sophisticated and above all that, but when she's alone in her bedroom, she slips the record on and rocks out. And I agree that JJ would listen to pop and Garcia to hippie music. Rossi would probably listen to opera (I don't know why, I just see him as an opera appreciator), and Hotch... y'know, I don't see Hotch sitting down and just listening to music for the hell of it. I don't know why... and Morgan is a mystery. Damn you, Morgan! Do you think he'd listen to hair bands?

Also, I see jazz as sort of a family music. I can see everyone appreciating jazz (though probably have different favorite artists), and it being just about the only music they can consistently agree upon.

As for your other fic idea- ooo, shiny idea! If I find time, I may just have to experiment with that. I do love me some angst.

(I got your e-mail with the links to season 4- THANK YOU! I've already seen the first two eps of season 4, thanks to crazy torrenting skillz, and I have the third just waiting for me, but now I can watch the rest! And OMG THEY BLEW UP MOM!)

(Morgan refers to Reid as "kid" upon occasion- usually just once or twice an episode, though.)

What do Hotch, Rossi, and Gideon do for a living? Since this is an AU, I can't see them at the BAU, because of the crazy hours, and no foster care system would let five kids live in a house where the parents aren't around frequently. I have no clue what Rossi would do, but Hotch is probably a lawyer, and I can see Gideon as a professor of criminal psychology. What do you think?

That's all for right now, I'm packing to go back to school tomorrow. I'll comment back on your comment the first chance I get (later this evening, maybe.)

(My mum loves Criminal Minds. I've been making her watch it. Last night we watched "Lucky", the one with the cannibal guy dishing out his soup? She felt all sick and quesy afterwards, it was delightful.)

(Though, admittedly, after that episode I am seriously considering becoming a vegetarian.)
